The girls in pasties are back this year to celebrate all things burlesque with the Second Annual Dallas Burlesque Festival. Dallas burlesque dancers Elisa, Black Mariah and Ginger Valentine are producing the festival which will take place on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 5-6 at The Historic Texas Theater in Oak Cliff. Former Miss Exotic World, Angie Pontani will headline the showcases.
Over 50 dancers from Texas and around the globe will tease, taunt and titillate in what will be Dallas’ largest and most varied burlesque showcase of the year. Attendees can enjoy burlesque shows and shop for pasties, burlesque accessories and more.
Personality Velina Stacchetti will emcee the shows and music will be provided by local DJ Big J. Dallas fashion model Melissa Meaow will orchestrate a Texas-sized pin up shoot before the show
“The purpose of the festival is to promote burlesque performers to a larger audience, to promote other events and culture and to enrich the community. It’s really important to me that everyone knows what a big and diverse burlesque scene we have in Texas. We’ve had a lot of applicants from all over the world and it’s really exciting to be a part of it all,” said Elisa Davis, DBF producer.
